Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RECON UGC at https://reconugc.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or paying for a subscription you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RECON UGC is a market-research tool that aggregates publicly available short-form video data, enriches it with AI-generated tags and scores, and presents it for competitive and creative research. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure. One account is for one person; do not share logins.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, via Stripe.
  • You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Prices may change; existing subscribers get notice before any change affects them.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law or in the case of billing errors. Contact info@reconugc.com for billing issues.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, bulk-export, redistribute, or resell the Service's data or AI analyses.
  • Reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Share your account or circumvent plan limits.
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Third-party content

Content displayed in the Service originates from public social media platforms and belongs to its respective creators and rights holders. RECON UGC indexes and analyzes it for research purposes and claims no ownership over it. Links out to platforms are governed by those platforms' own terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself (its software, design, AI-generated analyses, and branding) is owned by RECON UGC. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable license to use it, not to copy it.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Metrics, tags, and AI analyses are informational estimates, not guarantees of performance. We do not warrant that any content strategy derived from the Service will succeed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RECON UGC's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the RECON UGC operating entity is established (to be specified upon incorporation). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
